Lucy Ellen Gough, 95, of Lexington, formerly of Winchester, died at 11:45am Wednesday at the St. Joseph Hospice Care Unit, Lexington
. A native of Pike County, she was the daughter of the late Monroe Gooslin and Nancy Jane Varney. Mrs. Gough was a graduate of the Kentucky School for the Deaf in Danville and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Lexington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Gough, as well as one sister, one brother and a granddaughter.
Survivors include 4 daughters, Betty Stallins of Mayfield, Vicky (Don) Dixon of Tullahoma, TN, Dorothy (Roger) Booth of Indianapolis, IN and Patsy (Jack) London of Augusta, GA; a son, Carl (Shirley) Gough of Lexington; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 9:30-11:00am Friday at Scobee Funeral Home with graveside services at 11:30am at Clarmont Memorial Gardens by Rev. Richard Wilkins. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jim Fluty, Keith Dixon, Michael Gough, Barrett Gough, Jake London and Jonathan London.
