MORELAND – Roxie E. Dalton, 79, of Junction City died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008.

Born Dec. 1, 1928, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Price and Lena Patton Corn. She was retired from the State of Kentucky where she worked for the Kentucky State Hospital and Kentucky School for the Deaf. She was a member of Worldstown Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Doris M. Dalton; a son, Sandy Martin; and a grandson, Danny Dalton Jr.

Survivors include a son, Danny (Joann) Dalton; three daughters, Barbara Conatser of Junction City, Connie (Kenny) Hampton of Hustonville and Dixie (David Harness) Smith of Crab Orchard; a granddaughter she raised, Tracy (Kelly) Burchett of Junction City; a brother, Curtis Corn of Moreland; two sisters, Louise (Jay) Bates and Shirley (Stanley) Lane, both of Casey County; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Worldstown Church of God in Junction City by the Rev. Floying Thompson Jr. Burial will be in Willow Springs Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be John Conatser Jr., Michael Conatser, Chris Godbey, Dennie Smith, Josh Burchett and T.J. Wheeler.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Thursday at Worldstown Church of God.
